i also found this article, not sure if it already was known? (from 2013) https://www.apertus.org/zh-hans/node/160
has some grep lines for getting range of images out of Cin's project xml..
Believe it or not, that "grep" line still seems to work on an ordinary xml file (that was not even a case mentioned in the article) but that just shows the usefulness of "sed" !

scripts on github: https://github.com/szaszak/florestavermelha this was interesting art/sci/software/hw experiment... I am fairly sure I prefer 'hackable' camera (with docs, not just some forgotten version of Android without sources for key components.. () + open software - this way I get maximum out of it, not just what marketing allowed me to get (my current rarely used fake-4k camera sharpens too hard on ISP inside cam.. no control over this part!)
*Andrew*, if you have the inclination and time, could you look at track.C for why "attach effect" does not work when using In/Out pointers after the June 26, *2020* GIT mods added. Dragging from the Resources window works just fine; "attach effect" on a swiped area works just fine too. This was reported in the forum: https://www.cinelerra-gg.org/f orum/help-video/attempting-to-attach-title-to-new-track/#post-1839
ok, i'll look...
thanks for digging it out!
I am pretty sure it is just an omission in track.C. Attach Effect works on GIT commit: 48a6854a1ca58aa291ffc6fe3a48807492dfbef7 but fails after commit: 9a75aafbc51be29b49351a51e9084bb34d255c0d
