Actually I think that is a good idea for Show Viewer, Compositor, and Resources. I put that on next month's "to do" list. On Thu, Oct 29, 2020 at 5:21 PM Andrew Randrianasulu via Cin < [email protected]> wrote:

It has always worked this way and is not a toggle. If you delete the Viewer window via the "x" in the upper right hand corner and then use the Window pulldown, you will see "Show Viewer" is no longer checked ON. The purpose of the pulldown option is to get the Viewer window back when you accidentally killed it. Show Overlays works differently.
Ok ...thing is, I just removed window decorations via kwin's customization, in hope menu will work anyway for both actions. I was wrong.
Is there possibility to turn those menuitems into toggles? (not necessary for this month's release, just in principle)

Sorry, not sure if this is local issue or something like real bug (so
late
again ...)
I started Cin even with english language, and still I only can, say, toggle 'Show viewer' window ON via this menu, but can not hide it again by clicking on same menu item again. I can hide/activate 'Show overlays' window, but apparently this is only one reacting this way ...
