Hi Sam, I'm sure that your current proximity to the evolution of Cinelerra-GG will allow you to know better than I do what should be added to the text. I'm just suggesting that it would be better to confine the features highlighted to those that are exclusive to CinGG; that is, those that are not also found on other Cinelerra branches. I think the new text is much better.
However, I thought of a few small things while recapitulating the text that we might want to include after all.
CinelerraGG can also use the program library OpenCV. The best OpenCV plugin is the FindObject, with which you can do motion tracking.
I would also write that we have repositories and single-user builds for the following Linux distributions: Ubuntu, Debian, Arch, OpenSuse, Slackware, Fedora, Centos, Mint, FreeBSD. The source code is also available, so the capable user Cinelerra could compile it on other distros as well.
Thanks for your initiative and help Pierre!

This is Sam the modified version of my draft, I think it's as far as I can go at the moment. If you have the opportunity, it may be better if you take over here; you are better equipped than me to integrate the logo and useful images on the Wikipedia page if necessary.
