Just remembered that we did update Flac library from 1.4.3 to 1.5 Stefan, what was the date of your previous build? and what is the type of waveform, i.e. flac? On Fri, Mar 14, 2025 at 4:10 PM Andrew Randrianasulu via Cin < [email protected]> wrote:

Stefan, Looks like at least 2 people are not seeing the problem you see, but we all have different O/S setups so you still might have uncovered an issue. I just now did a full build on the latest Fedora 41 version and my tests show no strange wave artifacts. If you get a chance to try a CIN_CONFIG with the default Cinelerra_rc file and you still see a problem, please let us know.
I'll do a screen record. I also think I have found a reproducable way to do A/V shifting with reference playlists. But I was really surprised about the regressions.
ya, we barely touch core of Cinelerra ..
but may be new compiler/glibc changed some subtle detail and bit us this way.
I also might introduce some bug somewhere in last nearly 5 years. So if you have reproductable bug may be try bisect?
