Adam, if you want to still use the Calf plugins, you can try to use them without the UI interface and hopefully that avoids the crashes. In populating my DAW under Ubuntu 24.04, I have sadly found it necessary to uninstall and remove all CALF plugins. They were causing my somewhat new system to crash all the time.
A great pity as they've been tremendous for a long while.
