Thanks for noticing still image problems as it looks like neither one of us tested that.

I'm not sure it's a bug or my incompetence, so I'll check the mailing
list first.
It seems to me that the trim functionalities (buttons 1 or 2 or 3)
always lead to a mute edit.
Note: edits are still images and not video; with video no problems.
