Andrew,
I have to check how it used to work yet to compare it so still testing but
will update appearances.C as in this latest patch.
I tried to rename function itself, move toggle down the column, 
set initial value to '0', and added not very useful tooltip
for 'Close' button in batchrender window ....
And new version - it adds new title 'Dangerous' with just tis specific flag.
