The new Cinelerra-GG server GIT repository is fully functional now and I have checked in updates for FFmpeg 8.0.  It is now at    https://git.cinelerra-gg.org/goodguy/cinelerra.git   so the following read-only git is:

    git clone https://git.cinelerra-gg.org/goodguy/cinelerra.git

Note for Andrey: hoping you will continue updating/creating the cin-gg-packages/releases

In addition, I am planning on keeping the github.com/phylsmith/Cinelerra_GG repository updated at the same time for those people who wander through Github (smiley face).  But if I ever figure out the ownership/password for the cinelerra-gg github repository, I will probably switch to that.
