End of month AppImages are now available.  (I had to make them early because I will not be able to on the usual last day of the 30th).  It takes about 4 hours on average to create the 6 versions with the Alt-h manual help when nothing goes wrong.

Flac has been upgraded to 1.4.0 from 1.3.2 (it was May 2013 when 1.3.0 was first released). In
  addition Andrew has added a Flac compression level option to the gui so that the user can select their
  preferred level with the default being 0. Thorough building and testing was done by Andrea.
Tiff has been upgraded to 4.4.0 from 4.3.0. In addition, a patch was made by Andrew to fix the
  problem discovered by Miroslav where “lerc” being compiled was giving errors.
VP9 webm render format has been improved/simplified/made default as a result of Miroslav’s work.
ALAC audio render formats added by Andrew. ALAC is Apple’s version of lossless codec.
A fix for armv7l build was added to the guicast/Makefile by Andrew.
Minor manual changes added by Andrea as errors are discovered and slight improvements needed.
