Just a quick note to report that the CinGG Youtube channel has reached
401 subscribers.
and there is slightly bigger G'MIC channel, it contain some image morphing sequences (I saw someone asked about morphing transitions on our forum?) https://m.youtube.com/c/GMIC_software/videos Good to know and thank you for keeping track.
It must be said, however, that lately the enrollments have slowed down a lot compared to the early days. In recent years I have convinced only one person to switch to CinGG; moreover, lately the arrival of DaVinci Resolve on linux constitutes a formidable competitor even if not open source. ;-)
This is OK, Cinelerra will always be a "niche" piece of software. Having survived more than 20 years is a testament to its continued viability and provides another choice for users. It is just like car brands - though Toyota is the most popular in the United States and takes the lion's share of the market, there are many more choices that give users options to buy Volkswagens, Buicks, etc.
