I don't want to keep you in suspense any longer—I'm sure you're
eager to try out the new version—but I still need about one to
two days before I can provide you with an AppImage to test the
new Qt6 version. I still have a few bugs to fix before I can
release this version for you to test. It won't be long now.

Hi guys,
Phyllis and I have been working on a new version of Cinelerra for several months now. Most of it has already been ported to Qt6. This means Cinelerra runs as a native Qt6 app. So I’ve now implemented everything that Cinelerra couldn’t do before, such as single-window handling, etc., and I’ve already built in many AI features, like speech-to-text, and set things up so that videos can be automatically edited in the future. This was actually supposed to be a big surprise. I’d like to invite a group of people to participate in alpha testing.
