I think AI can absolutely be used for programming. The main question is still the quality of the code it produces. AI coding is developing incredibly fast. These days, even local models can already produce complete working applications. Of course, that does not mean the result is always good. The code still needs to be reviewed, tested, and maintained by someone who understands the project.
