I would be willing to purchase this and have it sent to the Canadian if he is willing to at least try it with CinGG. What do you think?
well, I still think I better to do my research better: there was no mention of 10bit matrix!
But this one (H5) actually mention it on frontpage:

yes, much smaller (even more) but agan, for science!
not sure how much this one cost yet.....
ah, $400 w/o shipping ..
also more detailed tech spec says matrix is "8+2 bit", so not _real real_ 10 bit ... but I am not sure how much real real 10bit will cost even at small size ....
https://feelworld.ltd/products/feelworld-h5-5-5-inch-12g-sdi-hdmi-2-0-camera...
there is also bigger 7 and 10 inch devices, but for 600-800$! https://feelworld.ltd/collections/new-release/products/feelworld-s7-7-inch-1... https://feelworld.ltd/collections/new-release/products/feelworld-s10-10-inch... those more costly devices does not mention "8+2" in their tech characteristics, but this might be oversight or even marketing! I think SDI (in addition to HDMI) input/output and even cross conversion is sign of more Pro professional device but who knows, may be SDI connector and bridge IC now cost pennies! Some bigger pro monitors there still rec. 709 and/or NTSC color gamut, so be aware. I am not sure if warranty covers miscalibrated from factory display, or even how to detect this!
from same site you can find very costly big machines so I think they relatively legit, even if not Sony.

just 10 inch, but it said to support HDR (via presets and user LUTs) so I wonder if it can be used for technical development of hdmi hdr output?

wow, this is URL .....
pros: cheap, compared to real HDR professional big monitors.
cons: physically small. -- Cin mailing list [email protected] https://lists.cinelerra-gg.org/mailman/listinfo/cin
