Hi,
I noticed that when I create a few clips (more than 10 clips), with
"ToClip" function, Cinelerra-GG is less responsive in some things.
I remember that "ToClip" function puts the clip in the Clip Resources
Bin window.
When in the Clip Resources Bin window there are more than 10 clips (in
my case 42 clips), Arm or Disarm a track in the Program Window, using
the Mouse in the Patchbay, takes about 2 seconds; BUT, instead of using
the mouse,  I use the Tab key (shortcut) it is immediate. Mmh,... very
strange.
Or if, after placing the Insertion Point between two edits in the Video
track, I add a default Dissolve transition using "Shift+U" shortcut, it
takes about 2 seconds; same thing also for Detach that transition using
the mouse.
If I delete all the clips in the Clip Resources window everything goes fast.

Below my settings to save system resources:
- ThePreview Mode in the Resources Window is "No Play".
- In Settings->  Preferences, under the Appearance tab, I have unchecked
"Use thumbnails in resource window".

Any ideas?
