The latest AppImages are now available and with Sam's new display they are easy to find since marked as "NEW" which is so helpful! However, the older 32-bit Debian 9.1 version is not available because apparently some change causes it to crash with a segmentation fault when rendering. It will probably take me some time to narrow down the cause but since it is 32-bit, I am not sure anyone is using it anymore anyway. Users running any of Debian 13, Debian 12, Debian 11, Suse Leap 15.5, Fedora 38, or Ubuntu 22.04, preference should be to use those packages at https://github.com/einhander/cin-gg-packages/releases which should be currently compiling. This was needed starting at Fedora 38 and now for Debian 13. Building CinGG using distro libraries, i.e. without the thirdparty libraries, partially done by Rob P. who found some issues with changes needed/created by Andrew: - Giflib conflict for QuantizeBuffer required an “ifdef” patch. - Audiofile library was using an outdated negative left shift which has been fixed as found in Github. Ffmpeg/plugin.opts has had 8.0 filter, scale_cuda, disabled as discovered by Andrea. Other changes as provided by Andrew-R are listed next:- A new option has been added to blds/bld_prepare.sh of “ubuntu24” to have additional packages installed as noted by MatN previously. - Build options are now available in support of FFmpeg vulkan are vulkan and libplacebo. - A new build option of libzimg is needed by the latest Arch install as discovered by Andrea. - Format gui button fix for “seg” name segment. - The build option, x265_hidepth, is now working again.
