("lavu/hwcontext_cuda: refactor context initialisation") I just disabled this patch for my local build for now (no CUDA/nvenc software here) Another interesting recent hit in ffmpeg - Vulkan filtering, and https://git.ffmpeg.org/gitweb/ffmpeg.git/commit/31d7b17c4671329a372e2762b4c5... ("avcodec/hevc: add support for Frame Duplication (Doubling/Tripling)") - on decoding side, as far as I understand ....
