MY MOST SINCERE CONGRATULATIONS ANDREW The "Reset All" button works even better than I could imagine, this reset is perfect, so perfect that even if it is pressed by mistake with an undo everything is recovered. It would not hurt in the tag to indicate that it can be undone. (Reset Titler params to their default values. \n You can be undone by pressing z on the timeline) YOU HAVE DONE AN EXCELLENT JOB. HTML Tags All good, except for the "font name", let me explain, if I choose "fuente nombre" in Spanish, the tag is does not insert in English, it insert in Spanish. The closing tag does not work, this one if it is in English, while I am in Spanish, but </font> does not work , all the text that I write after it continues with the changed font, however if I put to close tag without the bar / <font> it works as a closing tag. [image: imagen.png] This tag has a problem of before the changes, I know it because I use a lot of different fonts in the titles, and the closure sometimes works and sometimes not, I solved it by putting another tag of font to continue with the predefined one in the font box, but I know that a closure should do this without me having to insert another "font name" with the same font that I already chose globally above. I have tried to put the closure in Spanish and the same thing happens, it only closes if I remove the / the tag "font and /font" they insert well, they look in Spanish in the menu, but they are inserted in English, which is how you want them to be inserted. The only one that fail with the language is "font name", and in execution, that of closing the /font tag. And most importantly, thank you very much for your good work. Andrew, It looks really good and I really like the reset button. The font worked for me in Spanish. But I only tried one so far. On Sun, Jan 24, 2021 at 4:32 PM Andrew Randrianasulu via Cin < [email protected]> wrote:

This patch work for the Title plugin has been checked into GIT. I checked a few more fonts and found no problem. Thank you Andrew! On Sun, Jan 24, 2021 at 2:06 PM Andrew Randrianasulu via Cin < [email protected]> wrote:

Great Phyllis, I ran into a bug with html tags, but this is from long before Andrew's changes. It is as follows: Strange behavior if after font change, to single chunk the text, I use size tag. https://streamable.com/o49cqg The Reset All button works wonderfully, and can even be undone if you want to restore the previous state. Greats Phyllis and Andrew Regards Rafa El mar, 26 ene 2021 a las 17:33, Phyllis Smith via Cin (< [email protected]>) escribió:

*Andrew*, I forgot to mention that I changed the "Reset All" button to just read "Reset" for a very good reason. Other languages that already have a "Reset" translation in the po file, will automatically have this already translated too. For example, in German Reset already has the translation of Zurücksetzen. So this button is consistent with other plugins like Crop & Position and Crikey. Also reworded the tooltip a little. Am a little confused about the change to DEFAULT_TIMECODEFORMAT TIME_HMSF but I am not fussy. *RafaMar,* I also checked in the small change to es.po that was dated January 22. *Moving on*: now am hoping to look at the mods for multiple backups and how to add in the batch render pdf information. Andrea suggested adding it to the manual after the Quick Start but that would be in English. However, adding it to ShellCommands would work with some effort -- IgorUbuntu in June 2018 added ShellCmds_ru.html to describe how to use the shell commands (button in main window, upper right hand corner) in Russian with the default in English and other languages to be added as provided. (See {where cinelerra is}/cinelerra-5.1/doc/ShellCmds.html) but I tested that today and it looks like with the mod for Settings->Preferences, Appearance tab changing language, that there is something wrong. I'll try git 'soon'. At least I hope default timecode format is something users can change easily, even if default doesn't suit them all ! :} I also hope 'Reset' tooltip explains its function more than less ..

Andrew, That link is HILARIOUS! all 13:33 minutes! I especially liked the "email address posted on the billboard in Nigeria" but most of all the "waiting for the semicolon reference". Sorry, I distracted myself by this link

Still trying to get Shell Command Russian to be displayed.
* Solution to the shell command in the attachments, along with the Spanish version and English with minimal style. For them to be displayed correctly, it is not enough to configure Cinelerra in the local language, the script I found in doc works with the language of the browser where it is opened. Look at the file in Spanish, I have given it a little, very little, of style, if you like it, I can do the same in English. ----------------------------------------- Phyllis, Andrew initially called this button "Reset" but I suggested that he call it "Reset All" because in the position it is in it appears to be a reset for colors only. In this case "Est mea culpa" from Latin, I am the culprit. From the moment that the reset change can be undone, then if someone presses the button believed to be only for colors, the undo will solve the problem. The time code thing HH: MM: SS: FF I also suggested it to Andrew, because this is precisely the SMPTE standard. It seemed more suitable to me, since Cinelerra is a video editor. Is the quick start guide for the batch render wizard correct? You should review the English version, sometimes I make mistakes, mostly syntactic. In Spanish it's fine, I provided you with the odt files, in case someone wants to translate them into their native language. I could do this in French, Italian and Portuguese, but it would always be good for a native person to review and correct them if necessary. It is not that I am polyglot, but I have notions of these languages. I thought it would be easy to put a help button that opens this pdf in the predefined reader of the system where it is used or an html file that opens in the web browser. Another question that worries mi. If in the end it has been decided that batch render will take into account the cursor position, it would be possible that this was a user option. □ Ignore playhead position And by default activated. Or the opposite, □ Take into account the position of the play head. And by default deactivated. I do not want to think that in a montage with more than 100 scenes, where the normal thing in professional production companies is to make a project for each scene, and then put them all together in a final montage, that I should remember to leave the cursor at the beginning, or having to open the 100+ projects to check the cursor position. I think these rare and exclusive Cinelerra things should be optional. It's just a suggestion... I don't want to be lion food. I attach the files referring to the shell command, I have corrected the java script in the ShellCmds.html file, which is the one that makes the call to the different languages. I have tested it in English, Spanish and Russian, and they are all work perfect. I have added the other possible languages, to be able to uncomment the lines if one day they are added. I have added a new html version in Spanish and I am also attaching the pdf. Remember that this java script does not read the language of cinelerra, it reads the language of the browser where it opens... I know how to do this with html, css, and with my very little knowledge of java script but not linking with the Cinelerra language, I don't know how to do this. Regards.
