I usually read the mailing list starting from the archive so that I always have all the monthly threads at a glance. It seems to me that since it was reopened, the archive does not show the most recent messages, continuing to show only the first three emails sent. Am I doing something wrong? Is the archive updated only monthly or at other intervals? The mailing list works, because I always see all emails as soon as they arrive in my email client. I am only referring to how the archive works. It is not even important, because I imagine I am the only one who views the mailing list from the archive; I am simply curious. The archive address I use is the following (it may not be the correct one): https://lists.cinelerra-gg.org/archives/list/[email protected]/

Hi Andrea, Neither me get (yet) the previous Cin-GG email archive list, similar like this for ffmpeg-user https://ffmpeg.org/pipermail/ffmpeg-user/ Instead I use the Searchable email archive by thread or date https://www.mail-archive.com/[email protected]/index.html Terje J. Hanssen

Nove solution, thanks.
Hi Andrea, thank you for bringing this to my attention! A misconfiguration in the HyperKitty archiver prevented some recent emails from being properly archived on the website, even though most emails were successfully delivered to members. This affected approximately 39 messages. The issue has been identified and resolved. Thank you for reporting this - your feedback helps keep our infrastructure running smoothly! Hi Terje, Thank you for reporting the broken mailing list link! You were absolutely right. GOOD NEWS: THE PROBLEM IS FIXED! I've implemented automatic redirects on the server, so the old link now works perfectly: https://lists.cinelerra-gg.org/mailman/listinfo/cin → Now automatically redirects to the new Mailman 3 page! What Was Fixed: All old Mailman 2 URLs now redirect automatically to their Mailman 3 equivalents: - /mailman/listinfo/cin → New list subscription page - /pipermail/cin → New archives - /mailman/listinfo/ → All lists overview - Old admin URLs → New admin pages What This Means: - The cinelerra-gg.org website link works again - All old documentation links work - Forum posts with old links work - Your bookmarks work - Any external links to the old URLs work Why the Link Was Broken: The server was migrated from Mailman 2 to Mailman 3. Mailman 3 uses a different URL structure, but I've now added permanent redirects (HTTP 301) so all old URLs work seamlessly. Current Working URLs: - Main Page: https://lists.cinelerra-gg.org/ - Cin List: https://lists.cinelerra-gg.org/postorius/lists/cin.lists.cinelerra-gg.org/ - Archives: https://lists.cinelerra-gg.org/archives/ (9,953 emails from 2018-2025) Thank you again for bringing this to our attention. What This Means: - The cinelerra-gg.org website link works again - All old documentation links work
https://cinelerra-gg.org/download/CinelerraGG_Manual still does not work for me. Says "No Results Found" Navigated there from HTML User Manual link at https://cinelerra-gg.org/downloads/#documentation not exactly mail-related, but I think getting old download area working (with listing ;) ) will be a plus ;) Because for example opencv archives lived there, and spec (RPM) files referenced it as their source. - Forum posts with old links work
- Your bookmarks work - Any external links to the old URLs work
Why the Link Was Broken: The server was migrated from Mailman 2 to Mailman 3. Mailman 3 uses a different URL structure, but I've now added permanent redirects (HTTP 301) so all old URLs work seamlessly.
