Multi Viewer / Multi Cameras - ExpertUsage - OpenMixers
Hi at all, I have done a short Demo video (6m14s) with the description to show the use of that powerful feature. In the demo you can see that I use four video source, but you can use more. I hope it can be useful. File: Demo_MultiCameras-ExpertUsage_OpenMixers.(mov) https://streamable.com/c40ia @Andrea paz I'm sorry if I don't write/answer to you (and others) in the Forum. Thanks! IgorBeg PS: If someone is interested to change the text in yellow colour, I can send the Cinelerra Project file with the screencast sources, without Music for license problems.
Very Nice! I like the music too. GG has a demo area on the server and I am going to put it there for future use. P.S. GG is still working on Shake, Rattle, and Roll (Elvis) -- which is really Ripple, Roll, and Slip + Edges. It has been very time-consuming and meanwhile he found a critical section deadlock that is in the way of completion. gg/Phyllis I have done a short Demo video (6m14s) with the description to show the use

Great video, very instructive. Please put it in the forum in the Tutorial section. A few questions: - Don't you want to put the 4 videos in Resources --> Media ( or Proxy) - and then select them all together and open the multiview at once? - In Features5.pdf we recommend disarming and making the source tracks not play-backed; why didn't you do it? thank you very much, IgorBeg.
Thanks! @GG/Phyllis
...and Roll (Elvis) Ahahaha :-)
It has been very time-consuming and... Really, take your time, please.
@Andrea paz
Please put it in the forum in the Tutorial section. I am not in the Forum, but if you want, you can put it in the forum. The video is copyleft, royalty free (and there is the credit for the music). ;-)
Don't you want to put the 4 videos in Resources --> Media ( or Proxy) and then select them all together and open the multiview at once? The "Open Mixers" option in Resources works only for Media folder, not for Proxy and Clips folders. And I have to use Proxy feature in the Viewer too, due to my HyperInterstellarWarpVelocity PC . More, to synchronize the videos together you need trim/cut in the Viewer or in Timeline. In the demo (from 0m54s to1m42s) you can see that the first three clips are trimmed in the Viewer with only the InPoint, because the OutPoint is setted automatically (great feature also this). The last, fourth clip(from 1m44s to2m06s),is trimmed on the timeline with "Ctrl+Alt+," shortcut (from cursor position to the beginning of the clip).

Thanks to your explanations, I'm finally getting multicam. I'll take your word for it and put the video in the forum. In my opinion it can be very attractive for random visitors.
Thanks Andrea paz for putting the demo in the Forum. IgorBeg Il 24/01/2019 19.43, Andrea paz ha scritto:
