Today's GIT checkin includes fixes + Ctrl-s for save session
Hopefully this solves some of the new user complaints -- *Ctrl-s ALSO saves the session as does the original "s" shortc*ut. We can not lose the "s" since too many users already know and use this consistently but since according to the forum, 99% of people use Ctrl-s to save the session. Unfortunately, this means that "Save Settings" under settings has had to change to Ctrl-Shift-S. If you have concerns about this, please let us know -- I am sorry that we find it necessary to ever change anything. Also, we would like to change Ctrl-z to be a undo in addition to the current shortcut "z" -- as this is another major complaint of new users. Same reasoning as above. We have not done this yet as ctrl-z in currently in use in a couple of different ways. If you have objections about this change, now is the time to say so. GIT changes also include: - Igor's last auto bump found error where the effects did not correctly stay put - other auto bump fixes - updated es.po (thanks to RafaMar as he has faithfully been providing for months now) - undo tweaks - *new feature is drag speed highlights; *check this out as I believe it is quite useful because it shows you the change that the speed up/down will make to the timeline while moving and then drops it there when you let up on the mouse - fix to ffmpeg filter parameters for video (to match previous change already done for audio); this allows for usage of f*_minterpolate *(and possibly other ffmpeg plugins that were commented out but I did not have time to test); "yes", it can be cpu intensive like Igor suggested and it does not seek so I *do not know if minterpolate will be useful* anyway but at least it does not crash. In order to get use of this plugin, you will have to "Reload Plugins" which you can do from Preferences. - normalize speed tweaks.
Ctrl-S and Ctrl-Z are the things that my readers have asked me the most, they will be happy to know about this change. Thank you El dom., 30 ago. 2020 a las 6:36, Phyllis Smith via Cin (< [email protected]>) escribió:

Thank you for the many changes. - By now I am used to "s" and "z" and I think I will continue to use these, but it is a good thing to meet the needs of new users. - Excellent "drag speed highlights", really useful. The bug reported by Igor seems fixed. - F_minterpolate works but it is very heavy, also because it only works single-thread. Strange because normally ffmpeg plugins can use multi-threads. As for native "Interpolate Video" plugin; it seems to me that it works well in fast motion while it doesn't work well in slow motion, giving me these 2 errors to the terminal: MotionHVScan::pixel_search 535 range fail range1=0.000000 MotionHVScan::pixel_search 548 range fail range2=0.000000 I think, if possible, it would be better to fix this native plugin than to use the ffmpeg plugin.
RafaMar, Ctrl-s and Ctrl-z will be in tomorrow's build and were checked into GIT already. Thanks for the feedback. On Sun, Aug 30, 2020 at 1:15 AM Rafa Mar Multimedia en Gnu\Linux via Cin < [email protected]> wrote:

All my personal opinion. I am not an old Cinelerra-GG user like most of You (I am using Cinelerra-GG since January 2018 ) and, for me, some shortcuts should be changed (I already speak about). For me there are foundamental shortcuts that a NLE must have, for example J-K-L for PlayBackward-Stop-PlayForward and I-O for In point-Out point. Ctrl+S is good for me and Ctrl+Z shortcut would be welcome. And, I think, the old "Save 's' " could be deleted. I understand the old users but, the old users can do an effort to change (hey!, I no longer have the shortcuts for the old "Move tracks Up/Down"). I think that Ctrl+S for Save is a standard. IMHO some shortcuts could go away and to be available for feature, new or old, more used. For me a shortcut should be assigned to a tool most frequently (or important?) used. For example I would not assign any shortcuts to the following items in File menu: - BD Render... (Ctrl+Shift+D) - DVD Render... (Alt+D) - SubTitle... (Alt-Y) About Speed feature: Very good. Thanks! I noticed that Speed tool must be used with care because the different types of keyframes can upset your work. IMHO, I would have preffered to be implemented at the clip level that you can change with RMB menu on it, and the Speed lines on the track to be hidden. Of course, this way, could not have the Speed Ramp. About F_minterpolate: I have done a short test. On my Charlie F_minterpolate can not work in real time (Proxy without Scaler enabled). I have to use a workaroud. So I can decide if create a SlowMo with FFmpeg by command line or inside Cinelerra-GG: good! IgorBeg
