Cinelerra GG bugtracker does not allow new reports
Hi, I have tried to report something new on the bugtracker. I notice that when pressing report issue (both buttons) the page gets white page which then redirects back to the overview. -- Stefan
Stefan, It worked just now for me as I was able to submit a new issue #556 (and then deleted it). Check all fields to see if something got inadvertently changed -- for example Public vs Private on the bottom. Also, are you able to respond to an issue that someone else submitted as a test? ...Phyllis On Wed, Feb 17, 2021 at 1:38 AM Stefan de Konink via Cin < cin@lists.cinelerra-gg.org> wrote:

We have had this problem before. It works if you report the same issue twice (save the text you entered the first time). See issue 298 (https://www.cinelerra-gg.org/bugtracker/view.php?id=298) . Although I seem to recall you could do something on the logon password page that was a workaround. Maybe the IP address box? @Georgy Salnikov I use Arch Linux which is a Rolling and I do updates every day. I think the problem (which isn't serious anyway) is the configuration I did in Firefox and the many extensions like uBlock-Origin and such that I put in. PS: most boring, for me, is the Forum: when I open a new topic it appears and disappears continuously until it stabilizes in a couple of days. I have never been able to understand why or find a solution.

This sounds like a caching proxy. -- Stefan
I have now remembered what the problem is. We had had this problem in the past over and over again, it is due to the following login option. This option "Only allow your session to be used from this IP address." causes these problems. Once you disable this option in the login view it works fine. Unfortunately, I have not found a way to make this option disappear completely. Please try if it works better with this setting. Sam Am 18.02.21 um 10:32 schrieb Stefan de Konink via Cin:

I can confirm that disabling the "IP address limitation" indeed resolves the issue. -- Stefan
I confirm. It happens to me every time a few dozen seconds go by without me taking any action. A tedious workaround is to disable the report with its X button. See figure. You have to do it again every time it appears.
