I have numerous crashes using openEDL. I don't know if they are related to the crashes I had some time ago, but these are also reproducible in root and so I got a useful dump. I simply put an edit in the clips folder using the "to clip" button (format=.3gp). Then I open that folder; RMB on the clip and click OpenEDL --> crash!
Andrea, thanks for analysis and GG has read the dump and sees the drawing caused the crash. Both of us followed your steps and have yet to get it to crash, but I will continue to test other files as I have quite a few. I am not sure if he will be able to create a fix without getting his own crash. Will update you later. gg/Phyllis On Fri, Feb 7, 2020 at 6:43 AM Andrea paz <[email protected]> wrote:

No, please don't. Don:t waste your time. Surely this is due to the instability of the AMD RX 5700 XT in my system.
I put a Nvidia video card in Radeon's place. But I keep crashing with OpenEDL. If I'm the only one who does this and it wasn't Radeon's fault, then I don't know what to think. Maybe KDE. In any case, it is only a problem of my system and it is still worth the advice not to waste time on it. I'm enclosing the dump anyway, if GG wants to confirm that it's not something of CinGG.
We are not "wasting" time on it ... BUT it seems to be a problem with the Vicon and perhaps a Lock problem and it really could be CinGG. He had already fixed last month a similiar problem. Any how he is going to inspect the code since we can not create it here. I think the 2 dumps should be sufficient for analysis, but if he needs another one, I will let you know.
