How to use the Background Rendering?
I'm not sure it's a bug. I can't do background rendering: I don't get the many still images it should produce. There isn't red bar on timeline. How to use this tool? There was an old post on the mailing list or an old ticket, but I can't find it. I haven't activated render farm, because I've never tried to use it.
In the video you can see how the background rendering works. https://streamable.com/cty6d Sam On 11.04.19 17:15, Andrea paz wrote:

Thank you, Sam. Your video is so clear and informative that I would like to put it among the "How to" of the forum. I am exaggerated in these constant requests, but I believe that popularizing the Tutorials and How to forum can be effective in attracting random visitors. Even if it doesn't seem so for now...

If I can to add a little thing about the forum: it would be more attractive, for the guests/users, to embed the videos in the posts/comments, where possible. So the user can see the preview. Like youtube, also streamable have an option to embed the code inside. Maybe Sam may do a test, I think. For example in the Sam's link https://streamable.com/cty6d there is the code that I copied from embed button by streamable.com: <div style="width: 100%; height: 0px; position: relative; padding-bottom: 107.485%;"><iframe src="https://streamable.com/s/cty6d/kcnvpi" frameborder="0" width="100%" height="100%" allowfullscreen style="width: 100%; height: 100%; position: absolute;"></iframe></div> IgorBeg
Very good idea Igor. Thanks for the hint. I will try it out tomorrow. Sam On 11.04.19 21:42, Igor BEGHETTO wrote:

I very much agree with this sentiment as it puts the GG version tutorials in a place where random visitors can easily find them as opposed to 10 year old cv videos that are still relevant but are outdated. Many a time when I find something new and it has a forum, I spend a lot of time going through that forum just to see what is there. gg/Phyllis
