I see version was bumped, so if it was our real real release we better to add git tag to it like it was done for quite some time. Phyllis, sorry for phenomenal distraction yesterday - I was looking for quickly check on how my build fixes actually build and found rabbit hole of Makefiles and slightly different behaviors!
I tried to build CinGG and have a crash. Last time I had done a build yesterday or the day before and everything was working fine. I attach the link for cin5.log: https://ufile.io/s0gd60bx

I think this one can be disabled in ffmpeg because we do not use vulkan acceleration for anything yet? --disable-vulkan disable Vulkan code [autodetect] in ffmpeg line in thirdparty/Makefile (will make patch momentarily) I also can see few "broken pipe" messages - might be build was running out of space?
Andrea, can you check attached patch? вт, 31 янв. 2023 г., 12:43 Andrew Randrianasulu <[email protected]>:

--disable-vulkan disable Vulkan code [autodetect]
in ffmpeg line in thirdparty/Makefile (will make patch momentarily)
I also can see few "broken pipe" messages - might be build was running out of space?
OK, thanks. With the patch the compilation happens without problems. But a little bit I feel sorry to lose the (future) possibility to use Vulkan.

I think if we update ffmpeg or may be cherry pick few patches from upcoming ffmpeg release we can re-enable and test this.
Andrew, sorry. I was just being lazy and will be properly adding "git tag" today. I should not have put "version update" in the comments. Andrea, so does Andrew mean that adding the ffmpeg PatchD for VP9 made it so Vulkan would not work? I don't see how it could be anything else? I think vulkan headers on Arch just were updated, and this made them incompatible with our non-git ffmpeg ? https://git.ffmpeg.org/gitweb/ffmpeg.git/commit/eb0455d64690eed0068e5cb202f7... https://github.com/archlinux/svntogit-packages/commits/packages/vulkan-heade...

@Phyllis. I don't remember well the patches regarding VP9 and Vulkan. Which should I test? @Andrew. You are probably right; there have been a couple of Vulkan updates in the last week.
Andrea, yu do not have to test since Andrew explained it. On Tue, Jan 31, 2023 at 9:30 AM Andrea paz <[email protected]> wrote:
