Improper name, since it seems to be a separate project from the mpeg family! Should we compile ffmpeg with the --enable-libxeve and --enable-libxevd tags? Sounds good for high resolutions (8k).

when it come to ffmpeg.git and hopefully into ffmpeg 5.1 but for now you can compile standalone ffmpeg with patch those two libs and see how it perform...
