fileffmpeg.C exists in HV-8 and currently has GPL attribution. ffmpeg.C does NOT exist anywhere as far as I can tell, except for CinGG To restate -- I am ONLY modifying programs that have no GPL license information. Please note that the Cinelerra-CV modified programs never took the time to modify their GPL license information to add: * Copyright (C) 2003-2016 Cinelerra-CV contributors so I do not really see the need to add it to CinGG files that I am adding missing license to????????? yes, but ffmpeg.C was added by Bill in 2015 without license header but with commit message saying it was merge from CV ... and this file ultimately tied to fileffmpeg.C .... may be (c) Bill 2015-2020 but with line saying based on works of Monty and Paolo according to (links)? oversight, I guess .... I was suggesting adding this line to startup message and not to each file (tracking if there was mod by cv to specific file indeed time-consuming) startup message lives in cinelerra/versioninfo.h
