Right now, the subtitle section seems ok for me, but I'm still nooby in cinelerra, because I use it not often. Just a general note, if you think that a section is not good to you, but you can't find the source of that filling. Try to write down that you think not good with section. Phyllis has put the new revision of the manual on the website in PDF and HTML. Some sections have been moved: Subtitles is now in Advanced Editing and various rendering examples scattered throughout various sections have been reunited in the Rendering chapter.
