I've been trying hard to love Cinelerra but it is pushing my limits. The main issue now is not being able to use my Nvidia GPU. I'm using POP_OS and FFMPEG verifies with my GPU. No configuration that I've tried takes advantage of my GPU. Any clues appreciated. Regards, David Koski

What part is pushing the limits? The fact that it does not seem to use your GPU or that (therefore) it is slow? -- Stefan

What type of installation of Cinelerra-GG do you use? Appimage has issues with hardware acceleration. вт, 25 июн. 2024 г., 09:24 David Koski via Cin <[email protected]>:

Don't you have GPU acceleration on the timeline (decoding) or in rendering (coding)? Do you have dual video card (CPU + ext)? Try running CinGG from the terminal and report the messages regarding the hardware.
