@IgorBeg; Usual request to put on the forum the video of the manipulation of the tracks in the timeline. @All; There are now many good video tutorials made by IgorBeg and Phyllis. Having them on streamable is not ideal for their visibility: you can only access them through forums or mailing lists. My proposal is to upload them to CinGG's Youtube channel, which for now only shows the translation tutorial. Is such a solution possible?
Or another idea other than Youtube channel, which mostly only involves a very small effort by me to upload demos is stated below. Initially when setting up the website, we added a directory for some demos at: https://www.cinelerra-gg.org/media/demos/ without a direct link There is a direct link on the website to "File Storage" which goes to https://www.cinelerra-gg.org/download/testing Maybe the wording on this direct link could be changed to use this for video tutorials instead, I would ensure that they got uploaded to that directory and try to maintain some kind of order. Other opinions? phyllig On Thu, Dec 5, 2019 at 9:02 AM Andrea paz <[email protected]> wrote:

Maybe they could be posted on Youtube and mirrored on an instance of PeerTube? They are FLOSS too, and if you don't know it is a youtube-alternative based on p2p so decentralized. Very cool project IMHO. It would be nice to have Cinelerra promoted there and at the same time enrich the content available there.
@Andrea_paz You know, my demos are yours (of the community). I can repay you (all) for your work just like that. @All In the spare time, I am working on some demos about Cinelerra-GG for my memory with the same Intro e music (and not to forget the steps to do some things). So, if you want, I could give them to you, as well as I will put in my own site. The resolution of my videos is 1280x768. I know that it would be better almost FHD (1920x1080) for people like you (all) that have UHD screen but,... sorry. :-) I think my demos are really ugly for the format and the kind of subtitles (directly in screencast). Then, if other user can do them, maybe it is better? PS: I think that the solution made by LWKS site is good. Take a look please. https://www.lwks.com/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=162&Itemid... <https://www.lwks.com/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=162&Itemid=246&start=QuickStart> The videos may not be linked to YouTube but directly inside the Cinelerra-GG site with the "poster" ( a representative frame)? @IgorBeg I look forward to the tutorials on your site. Those you have done so far are comfortable, clear and instructive. As for putting direct links to the videos inside the website, there was a proposal from Olaf with Sam's relative response. https://www.cinelerra-gg.org/forum/announcements-and-updates/integrate-video... @All All your proposals are very good and I hope we can implement them. My proposal of Youtube was used to have a free storage, but especially for the visibility that reaches even those who do not know CinGG. But I understand that it's an extra job and also time consuming for Phyllis and Sam. Is there a way for others to have access only to the Youtube channel that already exists? So everyone could do it themselves. But I don't think that's possible.
Those you have done so far are comfortable, clear and instructive. Thanks Andrea_paz.
@All When I will finish some basic VideoTutorial/HowTo (soon, I hope), I will show/send them. However, on Youtube there are a lot of them and well done like yours, Andrea_paz. Unfortunately or fortunately, depend by point of view, Cinelerra-GG changes fast, and could be that you (and me) create a VideoTutorial that will become obsolete in a few weeks/months. IgorBeg
