Thanks for reporting and providing a dump. I have duplicated the error so it can get fixed. The builds for this month are already in progress so I hope it is OK if the fix does not get in right away? But the bug you found on the Alpha color changing problem that your reported on May 29 will be in the build. I had to smile when I saw your simplescreenrecorder.mp4 though because I see you switched to the cinfinity2 icons for the plugins. In your Oct 18, 2018 email I thought that when you said "Simplicity and severity do not leave you indifferent. This *also applies to the theme of the original icons*. A big request: leave this design for the possibility of choosing it in the future" that you liked the old ugly icons! gg/Phyllis

I ran cinelerra under the superuser - and it booted with the default theme. Since it was necessary to solve another question - I did not pay attention to the design :) Ugin.

This SEGV has been fixed and added to the GIT repository and will be in June 30 builds. If you need it earlier than that, we could provide a static tar. BUT gg says there are better ways than "render effect" to do this - for example using Nested Clips (nesting is in the manual at 6.7.8). The problem with the Title rendered effect is that you can not do anything with it like drag or change anything + if you do not have the Title plugin settings leftover from previous use with "good" values, there might be initial values of W=0, H=0, you will not see anything.
Appreciate the root crash dump as we hope to eventually prevent any kind of crash! gg/Phyllis
