[PATCH] Tooltips for batchrender window, GUI-driven hide of 'Save to EDL Path'
Another attempt at patch. Combines (slightly extended) previous tooltip patch and new part reusing one of warn checkboxes for hiding two items in batchrender GUI: "save to EDL Path' and 'Warn is session/job mismatch'. Obviously, I can add more tooltips, rework wording on those I just added, etc. What do you think, I'm on the right track? Resizing batchrender window still sometimes can move two filepath input fields too close to each other. But otherwise it seems to work?
Andrew, I just did a basic test of this so far (and it looks good) as well as RafaMar's but I have to check both more thoroughly. Hopefully, we can all compromise and I can come to a good conclusion today. I am still testing and analyzing the latest provided patches. (1) the tooltips will be added; (2) I can change the default value for the "warning on mismatch -- which Andrew has as "Unsafe GUI in batchrender" to be off instead of on so that new users will never see it; (3) and as you probably already have guessed I like the idea of leaving in something like your unsafe button because I hate the idea of deleting anything that really is useful On Thu, Jan 14, 2021 at 3:08 AM Andrew Randrianasulu via Cin < [email protected]> wrote:

Thanks a lot! I added two more tooltips, hopefully they describe their items good enough? (I was always puzzled by 'Clears before toggle' function... After reading manual {wink} I hope I understand what this does....)

Yeah, thanks ... Do you think we should move this new toggle to 'Flags' section? It will make window a bit taller. Also, do you think po/cin.po should be updated centrally once again? Last time it was updated in Sep. 7 2019 ... I think this might help translators ?

Yes, I can update this -- I always provide RafaMar a new one to use for Spanish translation but never check it in. It is time to do so.
Last time it was updated in Sep. 7 2019 ... I think this might help translators ?

And new version - it adds new title 'Dangerous' with just tis specific flag. ----
