Latest GIT checkin addressed some outstanding labels/auto/keyframes follow edits in cut and paste mode and drag and drop mode. I could not find the appropriate MantisBT issue to file this under. The closest I could find was #100 but I think there was email from IgorB about an outstanding label problem still. This was somewhat hard to test here so suggesting you backup your EDL before you use this latest build until you are comfortable with it. There is a new Ubuntu16 and Mint 18 build. Thank you, gg/phyllis https://www.cinelerra-gg.org/download/testing/cinelerra-5.1-ub16-x86_64-stat... https://www.cinelerra-gg.org/download/testing/cinelerra-5.1-mint18-x86_64-st...
Thanks GG/Phyllis. Summarize some of my consideration, about Ub16 (built Mar 12 2019 16:16:27 - Testing folder date Mar 13 2019). 1) Aesthetic (only SUV theme): the colored square in "Automation Type" PullDown menu on bottom of the Main window is too near to the border left side of the PullDown menu. 2) "Label do not showed in Timeline" (see MantisBT issue #155) is still there (but you always know). 3) Sam's issue about "Drag&Drop for Resources to UserFolder", I don't see. I tested it in all 4 (x2) Preview modes (with/without block modes= LineOverText ): Full Play, Mouse Over, Src Traget, No Play. Maybe Sam used a different workflow. 4) "Preview" PullDown menu (should I call it DropDown list?) is Okay but consider what I write below, please. Maybe, if that PullDownMenu was drawn with the downArrow (on the right side) an user understands on the fly that it is a PullDOwn menu, I think. With "No Play" option chosen, could be better don't show the line over the text when you do MMB (Middle Mouse Button) on it (it is the same function). While testing I had some Segmentation fault but, maybe, it is due to too many manipulation on the tracks. Further tests are needed by me. Thanks. IgorBeg Il 13/03/2019 3.29, Phyllis Smith ha scritto:

This will be moved 4 pixels to the right and looks better. Thank you for noticing. It is not in the latest build, but will be the next time gg does one.

As stated in issue #155 this was fixed this morning. https://www.cinelerra-gg.org/download/testing/cinelerra-5.1-ub16-x86_64-stat... https://www.cinelerra-gg.org/download/testing/cinelerra-5.1-mint18-x86_64-st...

The above suggestions will be incorporated into the NEXT checking (not today).
Thanks for all, GG/Phyllis. In your built Mar13 2019 09:46:04, I just see that now I can close all the PullDown menu pressing on that button again. Before it was not possible. Very good job. Thanks, thanks, thanks. I write other things here because they are not bug but about aesthetic. Let me know if I am wrong to write here and it is better I write in Mantis-Bt, please. (You make me sweat. GG/Phyllis, You are going too fast for me.) 1) "Overlay mode" button in Patchbay: the down arrow has been moved over the icon. 2) "Shell cmds" button in Main window is no longer aligned to "FF" icon. (see screenshot added) 3) The texts on the top of the "Preset Edit" window are moved when the window is resized. Added screencast at https://streamable.com/t1djb Thanks. IgorBeg

This is a good place to put this. GG will get things lined up again so please let us know what else we miss. I think I mentioned earlier that there was an error in sizing of the main window with pulldowns and he had to get it fixed once and for all. Thanks, gg/Phyllis

Thanks GG/Phyllis for all. (last testing built 20190316). All the aesthetic reported in this thread by me are perfect (except a little tweak on Preview pullDown, but maybe there isn't enough space, I think). In Render-> ConfigureVideo(Audio)Compression-> VideoOptions: View, the "Kind" PullDown button shows three point. Is it right? The options are "codec" and "ffmpeg". Thanks IgorBeg
Mmpfh,... wrong file. Sorry. Il 16/03/2019 18.51, Igor BEGHETTO ha scritto:

GG/Phyllis, In the last testing Ub16 build (2019-03-17), in SUV theme, changing the position of the down arrow in Preview pullDown , unfortunately it has changed the position of the down arrow on all the pullDown menu. If You and other users have nothing against, I think, it would be better to restore the old value of "popupmenu_triangle_margin". So, only Preview pullDown has the down arrow near to the border. Thanks. IgorBeg
