The "Aspect ratio" parameter, there, is meant for Anamorphic format. So 
it changes DAR (Display Aspect Ratio) and/or PAR (Pixel Aspect Ratio) 
for some types of container/codec: pixel may not be square (1:1). I 
think you always know.
