Andrea,
GG looked at an old dump that you had sent and he says the relevant
/proc/cpuinfo looks correct there.

How do I give permission to the "proc" even as non-root?

They should be   'r  r  r'   so everyone can read it.  Meanwhile we will
test (later today though) on Arch here as an ordinary user to see if we can
duplicate.
