[Cin] tried to make giflist, got segfault

Possibly, but:
a) you can do that in the compositor
b) if you want to keep the original size, and it is smaller; where to
put it? In the center?
c) if you want to keep the original size, and it is bigger, crop it, or
resize if to the output size?
