Old libraries (like libraw1394..) from thirdparty tend to have older
autotools-based build system. This build system tend to fail on unknown
architectures (like aarch64.. or Powerpc64-le) even if library's code
builds fine. This sequence of calls was found while building for Elbrus
architecture and I think it will be useful for at least making build
progress further on all those new arches like e2k, ppc64(le), aarch64,
risc-v..
