The "older_distros-multibit" is the new one based on Fedora 29 which
mostly matches RHEL8 and was to provide
multibit as well as vdpau or maybe it is vaapi that works there.

GIT for Cinelerra-GG has the following changes from 01/01/2022-01/31/2022

Thirdparty/Makefile build has had changes made by Andrew for using
autoconf/autoreconf to support
  aarches64 and other distros with checking by MatN that added a
couple more changes.
CinGG builds on Debian 11 aarch64 (Qemu emulation) as done by MatN
(with the above mods).

Four of the Load Menu icons for the SUV theme, which looked to be hand
drawn, have been improved
 as done by IgorBeg. This includes the Refresh, Delete, Display Text,
and Display Icons.
Terje and Miroslav provided corrections to the manual and
Andrea/Phyllis fixed accordingly. Also,
 information from other users led to additional inclusions concerning
proxies and AppImage
 workaround for text file modifications.
GIF lists code has been modified to notify the user if the files are
not all the exact same size – it will
 not load any of the files, but this prevents a SEGV.
Reverted Title code added in 10/31/2021 release that fixed the
“unwanted black flash” on fade in/out
because it created other errors. Still waiting for response from
Freelancer who provided the fix.
