[Cin] if you use portaudio-linked apps on pure alsa for recording

Andrew, since you brought up audio problems, did you ever get audio to work
on the Android? P.S. I have reached a roadblock with Termux on my Android
tablet but am hoping for a breakthrough when I get some extra time to look
at it.
