I just saw question on libav-user list about virtual audio source. I
thought pan filter from ffmpeg can do this, but at least in ffmpeg 5.1 it
lacks runtime parameters tweaking, so your audio source can't travel from
one side to another as track plays. I thought may be our key frames can do
this? Anyone with two speakers to test? ( I have one, shame on me)
