FWIW, this has the distinct odor of incorrect signed/unsigned
conversions when applied to the GUI. Remember, there is no single
"standard" for audio sample data. My two commonly used codecs are aac
(final copy), and pcm_s16le (better for NLE), and I can say with a
fleeting certainty that the attached sample was of uncompressed aac.
