[Cin] Two patches hopefully fixing build on NetBSD 10.0/amd64

Results on my default/standard laptop running old Fedora 32 which has
Python version 3.8.2 (so not 3.12), it built without errors. But, again, I
have not reviewed the mods. Will boot Fedora 40 with Python 3.12 later and
see what I can determine.
