The Freelancer provided changes to libavcodec/encode.c to get it working. If you look at encode.c for 4.3 versus 4.4 it has been wildly changed and that caused a problem for CinGG. Andrew tested his big file that was getting the tail (the word tail is an interesting description!) too.
