yeah, sounds like unclear manual assuming your video file also in /tmp, try same steps but with next line you tried first (or delete already written stuff from /mntX before next try)<br>

Just to add, I have several DVD and BD discs with video written earlier using various tools, CinGG/bdwrite, K3b and NeroLinux, but probably none using just this procedure for HDV:<br>
