abandoned for years?<br></blockquote></div></div><div dir="auto"><br></div><div dir="auto"><br></div><div dir="auto">Another tip I just tried:</div><div dir="auto"><br></div><div dir="auto">Download SalixOS live xfce 15.0 x86_64, boot from it, as long as network and gpu is recognized you can use gslapt for installing oyranos 0.9.6 and then look if qcsmevents-qt4 icon comes up colored ... then you can git clone compicc, switch to tag '0.8.10' (git branch -b 0.8.10 0.8.10), install from gslapt compiz & emerald, compile compicc and install it with sudo (password for live user is "one").</div><div dir="auto"><br></div><div dir="auto">Then </div><div dir="auto">compiz --replace&</div><div dir="auto">emerald --replace&</div><div dir="auto">ccsm -> look for icc and enable it.</div><div dir="auto"><br></div><div dir="auto">mounting media happens via "new" method so you can look in /var/run/media/one IIRC for live Salix session.</div><div dir="auto"><br></div><div dir="auto">Worked for me in 16gb of ram :) </div><div dir="auto">qt4 tend to be heavy lib / framework ... :(</div><div dir="auto">But it does not work completely without edid from monitor :( Also dri3 tend to be unhappy if vblank interrupts are wonky due to same cheap vga cable. PS: Cinepaint evokes for me old memories of fighting with Gimp<br>
developers who stubbornly didn't want to implement 16-32 bits (or even<br>
other color spaces: they stubbornly stuck to sRGB alone).<br>
