What I know, "alpha" slider works with both "Filter Active" and
"Mask Selection" checkboxes checked.<br>
The "Filter Active" checkbox enables the options: red, green, blue,
hue, saturation, value, fade, <b>alpha</b>.<br>
If "Mask Selection" is not checked "alpha" will not work.<br>
