First make sure that file exists (sudo cp {cindat_path}/doc/99-ShuttlePRO.rules /etc/udev/rules.d/). Then before starting CinGG, unplug the ShuttlePro for a few seconds and plug back in again. https://cinelerra-gg.org/download/CinelerraGG_Manual/ShuttlePROv2_ShuttleXpr... Just tested Shuttle Pro without any problems. Do you see any output on the startup window that looks like what you see below? Do you have a .shuttlerc (a dot file) in your $HOME directory?
I have debug enabled in my /home/skinkie/.shuttlerc, and don't see any output at all. When cat /dev/input/event13 I am getting keys when interacting with the device.
It now also does not work with the original binary release. So I'll try to figure out what changed.
