This doesn't concern the patches for FFmpeg 9, but I wanted to suggest also using the patch 0001-guicast-dont-free-gl-fb-config-until-destruction.patch that a Mesa developer had proposed. This patch didn't solve my problem, but it didn't cause any issues and, in any case, fixed a minor bug in the code.
