Today's checkin and planned work yet ...
Performance improvements for drawing video and audio on the timeline are in this latest GIT checkin. Depending on what you do and how big your media is, you should see speed up when refreshing the draw on the timeline. Please notify of any anomalies. If anyone who does not do their own builds wants to use this new version early, we will gladly create a test static tar. Even if you do not see a speed up because you only use small media, it helps us if you test to shake out any bugs. Also, thanks to Andrea, an improved IQ graticule for the Videoscope, VectorWheel overlay is improved. We thought that the shortcut "k" for next keyframe is fixed and it works for us but feedback from Andrea is inconclusive so if anyone else can test this, it would be appreciated (BT #414). Plans for the next few days (which will probably change or we run out of time). A little more work on Videoscopes to fix the layout and think about if/how to add "realtime" option (BT #71). And more work on Effects Stack as in BT #84.
I can prove it if you make me a version for Mint 19.3. As long as it's not too much work for you to do it. El sáb., 25 abr. 2020 a las 6:20, Phyllis Smith (<[email protected]>) escribió:

RafaMar, OK, Thanks for volunteering! We can sure use your help. It is no trouble to do a Mint 19.3 build. It has the accumulated mods in it to include your es.po the tips.es and all fixed. https://cinelerra-gg.org/download/testing/cinelerra-5.1-mint19-x86_64-static... The keyboard shortcuts (k) works perfectly. The Scopes [image: image.png] English = Spanish VectorWheel = RuedaCromática Problem long word in Spanish [image: image.png] [image: image.png] All = Todo ----------------------------------------------------------- The BoxBlur plugin is wonderful. Next month I will dedicate an article to him. Simply translate Position & Size = Posición y Tamaño [image: image.png] Everything else I've tried has been perfect. Thank you very much for your excellent work and a real pleasure to collaborate with you. P.S. I'm glad that the YouTube channel is coming to life. P.S. 2. I send you the cin.po file again, because I made some corrections since the last version I sent you. Work with it as a final version to make the corrections that I indicate in this message. Tips no changes. P.S. 3. This last point is trivial nonsense, but I use snapshots a lot to do tutorials, and what I do to keep an order is to set the address to a folder that is inside the project I'm working on. Would it be easy and possible to put a button that will have me here a wizard to find or create the folder? The option $HOME/Pictures in Spanish gives problems, this folder does not exist. In Spanish the folder is name "Imágenes" [image: image.png] I will develop this idea in the ticket I made. But please, this is not important. Just pay attention to this when you get bored and don't know what to do. El sáb., 25 abr. 2020 a las 17:20, Phyllis Smith (<[email protected]>) escribió:

Checked in these mods today - threaded loading on timeline so that if you have 2 or more CPUs (which by now everyone probably has), the audio tracks will be loaded at the same time as the video track. Before the program would load the video track, which takes a lot longer, and then serially load the audio tracks. Because of threads, now the audio tracks will be done loading way before the video finishes. Also, boxblur layout fix was provided by another's work. Thank you RafaMar for your feedback in checking yesterday's mod. And looking forward to next month's chapter (I added Chapter 9 to the forum notification for others to easily view). The BoxBlur plugin is wonderful.

You're welcome, it's a pleasure. These days I am writing about vertical videos recorded with a mobile. The following will be on BoxBlur. El dom., 26 abr. 2020 a las 3:56, Phyllis Smith (<[email protected]>) escribió:
