Ugin:

Thank you very much for the next build of the excellent cinelerra program.

You are welcome -- GG enjoys working on it and he says as long as 1 other
person besides us uses it, that is enough! But it is discouraging to see
so many Mantis Bug Tracker issues out there and there is no way to keep up
without more programmers with varied expertise.

Tell me, are there any download / usage statistics for cinelerra? It is

I would expect the usage is pretty stabilized and will not vary much as
there are so many NLE's available -- kind of like the Operating System
Distros in that the user base is spread out of so many variations. Users
come and go over time and many users never interact with the website other
than downloading a new version once in awhile with an automatic update.
Plus more people use Windows rather than Linux. Fortunately with all of
the work Sam did/does on the modernized website, that helps to attract new
users when the old users get too old!! Cinelerra software is considered to
be somewhat difficult to use if the use is only occasional and the human
interface is thought to be a little old-fashioned.
