I install and use only the suggested prebuild multimedia packages from 
the "semi-official" Packman repo etc according to
http://opensuse-guide.org/codecs.php

By the way, shouldn't the thirdparty (statical linked) ffmpeg4.1 and 
x264 be part of a standard Cinelerra package installation?
